Terms of Service

1. About This Site and These Terms

Clash Download Center brings together information, download links, and configuration guides for clients in the Clash ecosystem. The content is for educational and informational purposes, helping readers understand proxy tools, rule-based traffic routing, and network configuration. This site is not affiliated with or operated by the open-source projects featured here, and its descriptions do not imply endorsement or authorization by their maintainers.

These terms apply when you visit this site, read its guides, or use links provided here. When installing software, purchasing third-party services, or visiting external websites, you should also review the relevant provider’s terms. These terms do not replace software licenses or alter the rights and obligations between you and any third party.

2. Legal and Responsible Use

You must comply with the laws and regulations where you are located and in any jurisdiction relevant to your activities, as well as the rules governing the networks, devices, and services you use. Before using any tools, make sure you have the necessary authorization. You must not use this site or linked software for unlawful purposes, including unauthorized system access, data theft, distributing illegal content, or disrupting network operations.

Commands and configuration examples in our guides explain technical usage only; they do not determine whether a particular use is lawful. Get approval from the relevant administrator before using tools on workplace networks, shared devices, or managed endpoints. Educational or research purposes do not excuse you from legal obligations.

3. Software and Third-Party Services

Software is provided by its respective open-source project or publisher. Refer to its release notes for details about features, license terms, system requirements, and maintenance status. Information on this site may not reflect the latest updates. We cannot guarantee that every link will always work or that any software will remain usable on a particular device or network.

A download link is not a network access service. Availability, pricing, and data handling for nodes, subscriptions, accounts, and other third-party resources are determined by their providers. Evaluate their terms and security risks independently. This site is not involved in these transactions and does not guarantee third-party services or commitments.

4. Operational Risks and Limitation of Liability

Changing system proxy, TUN, DNS, routing, or firewall settings may affect existing connections and app behavior. Back up your configuration, note how to restore it, and test changes in a controlled environment first. Subscription URLs may contain access credentials. Do not publicly share complete links, configuration files, or logs containing sensitive information.

To the extent permitted by law, this site is not liable for interrupted connections, device issues, data loss, or other losses resulting from reliance on documentation, installing third-party software, or applying configurations. We also do not guarantee that the content is suitable for every use case. Nothing here excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted, or affects rights you have under applicable law.

5. Intellectual Property and Open-Source Licenses

The names, logos, code, and accompanying documentation of each software project belong to their respective rights holders. Open source does not mean copyright-free. When using, modifying, or redistributing software, follow the applicable license for that version, including any requirements for attribution, retaining license notices, and providing source code.

Original explanatory text and editorial arrangements on this site are protected by applicable law. When quoting them, credit the source, preserve their meaning, and do not imply endorsement by a project maintainer. Third-party materials remain subject to their original licenses; these terms grant no rights beyond those licenses.

6. Changes to These Terms and Help

We may revise these terms to reflect content or service changes or legal requirements. Updated terms and the month of the latest revision will be posted on this page. Unless otherwise stated, revisions apply to use after publication and do not retroactively change the legal consequences of past actions. Where separate notice or consent is required by law, we will follow the applicable requirements.

If you do not accept the applicable terms, stop using the relevant content and links. For installation, configuration, or troubleshooting help, see the FAQ. New users can start with the tutorial. These pages provide technical information, not legal advice.
